ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Kandela
Hi, I’m Kandela
I'm Kandela Echeverría, a psychologist trained at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Bachelor's in Psychology and Master's in General Health Psychology) and a member of the Nederlands Instituut van Psychologen (NIP).
I understand psychology from an integrative perspective: not reducing anyone to what's happening to them, but also understanding their history, their relationships, and the moment they're going through.

A perspective built from different places
A perspective built from different places
Before and alongside my path in psychology, I have built my career in Recruitment, Learning & Development and Human Resources. I know the world of work from the inside, and what comes with it: changes of direction, difficult decisions, uncertainty.
I also trained in vinyasa yoga, which deepened my interest in the relationship between body and mind. It doesn't replace psychological work; it's another way of approaching one's own experience.
And living outside my own country is part of how I see things. I know what it means to rebuild a life away from the familiar: another language, another culture, relationships that redefine themselves, and the search for a place of one's own.
All of this lives today in Metanoia: a space to support psychological processes with warmth, curiosity and rigour, in Spanish and in English.
